Seán Morris
Seán is an installation artist working primarily in glass, and a curator based in Canberra and Sydney. Working under the artist-name NOT, his practice has evolved through experimentation between the mediums of glass and ceramics with a focus on discontinued and discarded materials. He regularly participates in group and prize exhibitions, Since 2013, Seán has been Director of Square One Studios in Sydney, regularly organising exhibitions that showcase glass artists at commercial and public spaces. In joining the Ausglass Board, Seán would like to bring his experience and advocacy for the glass medium to a national level by encouraging stronger collaboration and communication between studios, galleries and other member organisations, and by bringing wider opportunities and higher visibility to practicing glass artists.
