Studio Tour held in Tasmania on Saturday 20 September 2002.
Ausglass members and students came from all over the state (from the North-West to the South) to enjoy the hospitality of Julian Bamping (at Weetah near Deloraine) and James Dodson (at Breadalbane near Launceston), to see what each of them had to offer and to ask questions, to exchange ideas and work concepts, and to have a really good big day out! We were all initiated into the art of glassblowing, and as Kim said 'hot glass virgins no longer...'
Our joint thanks to Julian and James for hosting the event, and their partners and assistants, and especially to our Ausglass State Representative Merinda Young for organizing the event.
