This recent work explores the environmental degrade that is occuring as a result of our ongoing thirst for oil and the bond between its use and our consumer need for status and prestige.
My work is heavily centred around the handmade, however i am also very interested in the exploration and revival of industrial processes of glass manufacturing. One inspiration however for this current work has been the detail and handcrafted finish of objects from the art nouveau, namely the glass car mascots of Rene Lalique.
