Rebecca Coote uses the medium of glass to create sculptural installations, free standing objects and large-scale public art. Working over a range of different architectural spaces and scales she is interested in exploring the sculptural potential of glass. Rebecca received a BFA (First Class Honours) from the Tasmania School of Art, University of Tasmania in 2007 was awarded a Masters Degree from the same institution. She has shown regularly in curated exhibitions and has received numerous awards and grants. Her works are held in private collections in Australia, America and Asia
