History of the Conference Series
Ausglass normally holds national conferences every two years in January, in odd-numbered years. In the recent past, the conferences have been as shown at the right.
The 2005 Conference in Adelaide was held in May and was a joint event with the Glass Art Society (GAS) based in the USA.
The last conference was held in January 2008, and the three year break after Adelaide was caused by the completion date of the Canberra Glassworks. The Hobart Conference puts the series back on track in January 2009, though it is only one year after Canberra. The following conference will be in 2011, so if you miss Hobart you'll have another three year wait.
