Ausglass Auction
The Auction is a traditional Ausglass event, and consists of a
Silent Auction (in other words written paper bids for some works) and a
Live Auction with an auctioneer (which is fast paced and active).
Proceeds from the Ausglass Auction help Ausglass to meet its objectives of assisting the contemporary glass art community through funding of exhibitions, prizes, workshops, conferences and educational information to help artists develop their art.
This event is eagerly awaited by glass artists and collectors alike. Join in the action at the Conference - there will be collectors, gallery directors, members of the public and artists all competing for that desired piece of art. The auction will be held in the entrance area of the School of Art.
Just as importantly, donate us something to be auctioned. Donations can be art works you've made, goods (such as books, tools, supplies) or services (such as free time in your studio or a place in your next workshop). You can bring your donation with you to the Conference - no freight. You can also offer your work in the Exhibition as a donation, if unsold. You don't need to attend the Conference to donate an art work, some goods, or services.
The Donor Form gives you all the necessary details. Please direct any queries to the Auction Coordinator, Anne Clifton, at auction_AT_ausglass.org.au (replace '_AT_' by '@').
